Bar Bah @Isola Design District

At Bar Bah you can drink a lot and well, with a great focus on the quality of the products used.

Keeping always a casual and welcoming look, this Cocktail Bar on via Lambertenghi 20 fully expresses the interests of the owners Lorenzo, Andrea and Francesca, both in architectural design and interiors, self-made with recycled materials mixing original vintage pieces to graphic and figurative elements that refer to the world of film, music and tatoos.

Everything inside is really suggestive: from the bar made reassembling wooden pieces, to the lamps obtained by old liquor bottles or welded steel, and the ceiling, made by the Pisan painter Maurizio Magretti, where doves, angels and Christian elements seem to flaunt the vicious atmosphere of the bar.

During the week of Isola Design District, Bar Bah has hosted Cagla Bademli and Ceren Gun's creations, former students of architecture at Politecnico di Milano.

COLLAGES ISSUED GENIUS LOCI / Spirit of place by Ceren Gün

Sets of collages portraying the atmosphere of places. The objective of this phenomenological study is to cultivate peculiarity of sensorial aspects of places and to accentuate the immersive aspect arises within our beings and our environment. The study illustrates a mergence between idealist and realist perspective which discuss the term of being-in- world.

The idea of combining broken pieces to create something solid and totally new is a symbolic way of showing personal strength. Mosaic signifies hope for all, and a reminder that the broken pieces of our lives can be rejoined to become a whole new beginning.
